Teamwork Makes The Dream Work

One of the most successful methods for getting healthy is having a partner with the same goals as you. Many people have tried and have been successful losing weight, gaining muscle, eating more fruits and vegetables all by themselves but having a partner makes the process much easier. One reason group exercise classes and tracking apps on your phone are so popular is that having that person besides you makes you not want to give up as easily or as fast. The benefits are endless but here are just a few to put it in perspective:

1. Accountability- If you have set a goal to go to the gym 3 days a week with your workout partner the chances of you making excuses to not go decrease.

2. Increased workout intensity. 

3. Cheaper personal training rates – Trainers will usually give a 20-30% discount off of regular rates if multiple people train.

4. Having a partner makes the workout more fun.

5. You do not feel alone.

Working towards a specific goal is hard work, whether your partner is a co-worker, family member, friend, or app. Partnership makes your fitness journey easier to handle.
